Cypress Touchpad - DELL XPS 12 Hello, I'm owner of a DELL XPS 12 convertable notebook which has as inpunt device an ATMEL maXTouchDigitizer (Touchscreen) and a Cypress touchpad. The touchscreen works like expected, after an installationen of a new Arch Linux System with desktop enviorement (XOrg - Server + Gnome). But the Touchpad would'nt recognized by the system and passed to XOrg. It is also not listed in XInput or dmesg. I'm running the current default kernel (3.17.x).

If i run a live enviorment like Antergos (Arch derivate) then both, the Touchscreen and the Touchpad, works like a charm and out-of-the-box. The touchpad is listed in dmesg, XInput and HWInfo.

I have a problem to get my Cypress touchpad working on my DELL XPS 12 after installation of Arch Linux. This means if i running a live enviorement like Antergos (Arch Linux derivate) the touchpad works like expected. Also my Touchscreen works without any problems. I checked the loaded modules by lsmod in the live enviorment and the installed system. Only the 'psmouse' module is missing in my installed system. An other difference is the kernel version. Antergos LiveCD uses Kernel 3.15.x.
