Since that time we've worked to build a common vision for uniting gamers around the world. Today we are pleased to announce that Evolve is officially merging with Player.me. For those who haven't heard of Player.me, it's a gaming community from the makers of XSplit and Challonge.

Together, Evolve and Player.me are becoming a super-platform that helps you create, share, and socialize with other gamers. As part of this, Player.me is also announcing the ability to track gameplay statistics. This feature is fully compatible with Evolve and will allow our members to bring over their full gaming history (and friendships). In a lot of ways, we see Player.me as the spiritual successor to Evolve, and have been working to make the transition as smooth as possible. Everyone is encouraged to migrate their accounts now to take full advantage of Player.me's features and unlock a few extra goodies along the way. It should go without saying that we think that the wealth of features offered by the Player.me app will make for a welcome upgrade. As part of all this, the Evolve app will be retiring on December 13, 2018.
